Visit WiSE

We are excited you are considering a STEM major at Iowa State University! The Program for Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) is here to walk with you on your journey while providing resources, opportunities, and support for you to be successful in your STEM major and college career.  For over 35 years, WiSE has been enhancing STEM experiences by advocating for diversity and inclusion.  We look forward to getting to know you and sharing the WiSE experience with you!

ISU offers over 100 majors, 50+ of those are STEM majors. WiSE supports all female-identifying (this includes women who are cisgender, trans, of trans experience, non-binary, etc.) students who are enrolled in any of those majors.
